Clinical Intern

Are you a graduate student pursuing a career in couples therapy, individual therapy, or relationship-focused healing? Are you eager to gain hands-on experience in a private practice setting while receiving supervision from licensed professionals? At Encourage Counseling, we are committed to supporting the next generation of therapists by offering a structured, supportive, and growth-oriented internship experience.

We are looking for interns who are outgoing, engaging, and culturally competent, with a strong interest in couples therapy and relationship dynamics. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, values inclusivity, and is committed to providing a safe, affirming space for clients. Strong work ethic and reliability are essential, as we expect professionalism in scheduling, documentation, and client interactions. Above all, we seek interns who are compassionate and client-centered and genuinely invested in helping clients navigate relationships, emotional challenges, and personal growth.

Interns must be available for a minimum of 15 client sessions per week, across at least 3-5 hour shifts, including evenings or weekends. This internship offers a unique opportunity to train in relationship-focused therapy while working with adults (18+) in an online setting.
